Tenterden's designated cycle route to get all weather resurfacing

Tenterden is set to benefit from significant improvements to its only designated cycle route, the Colonel Stephens Greenway, which runs between St Michael's and the town centre. Funded by £150,000 from the Department for Transport, this initiative aims to create a more accessible and safer environment for cyclists and pedestrians alike.

The Colonel Stephens Greenway, affectionately known as The Old Railway Track, has long been a vital traffic-free pathway for local residents. The planned resurfacing will cover approximately 650 meters of the route, enhancing its usability in various weather conditions.
